Robin Bushell

Robin founded Mountain River Crag and is the course director and often the tutor for courses.

Back in 2014 I was working as a rafting guide in the north of Iceland, and had the best training course I'd ever been on (Wilderness First Responder). We went out in the river and practiced many scenarios out in the icey waters - I was hooked, and when I came back to the UK at the end of the summer, I started this company.

Most of my outdoor life has been spent in and around the rivers of Europe and the Himalayas. Working as a rafting guide, safety kayaker, trip leader and since 2015 as a first aid trainer.
