This Emergency First Aid at Work course is the most common workplace first aid found in the UK, covering many of the major life threats. If you work in a low risk industry or are responsible for less than 100 people you should enrol.

High risk industries such as forestry or construction need the 3 day First Aid at Work Course
You will learn what is required to manage a situation where a casualty is bleeding, ill, unconscious, injured or not breathing, before the emergency services arrive.
We cover the following:
- Duty of care & responsibilities of the First Aider
- How to manage the airway
- How to check for breathing
- Resuscitation (C.P.R)
- A.E.D Training (Automated External Defibrillator)
- Injury assessment
- Major Bleeding & Shock management
- Minor injuries
- Epilepsy & Seizures
Upon completion of the Emergency First Aid at Work course, you will receive an approved certificate valid for three years and meets government guidelines and required learning hours.
At the end of the course, candidates will leave with the necessary confidence and skills to deal with an accident or illness, at home, work, or leisure. Staff members will meet the requirements for the workplace and will be able to deliver first aid effectively.
Your training day will focuses on a vital set of emergency lifesaving skills. These can be applied in any working environment. First aid is practical in nature - your instructor will demonstrate then provide you with lots of time for hands on practice.
You will learn a what to do at a scene & how to handle different scenarios. How accident reporting works & what information the emergency services require.
